2018 CHI St. Vincent Golf Classic Brings Foundation Supporters Together
Golf can best be defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle. ~Author Unknown
A dark and stormy morning made for a beautiful afternoon for the 15th annual CHI St. Vincent Golf Classic on Monday, May 21 at Chenal Country Club. Approximately 175 golfers took advantage of the break in the weather to compete in the annual tournament co-presented by Chreyton Electric and PotlatchDeltic Corporation. Members of EC, co-workers, and volunteers worked to ensure this year’s event was enjoyable, entertaining, and, very importantly, profitable. Preliminary numbers suggest that this year’s tournament will raise more than in recent years.
The Sultans of Swing, led by team captain Dr. Mike Bauer, won the CHI St. Vincent Physicians’ Cup for the 4th consecutive year. Dr. Shane Kimball, Dr. David Griffin and Tim Luft completed the team in the 4-player scramble.
Proceeds from this year’s tournament support the Arkansas Neuroscience Institute and will help build the ANI Education and Research Center adjacent to CHI St. Vincent North. This support will help make it possible for ANI Education and Research to teach and train neurosurgeons from around the world, leading to improved outcomes for more patients.
