Project Search is a program that provides internships for young adults ages 17-21 that are developmentally delayed or disabled. Through a partnership with Lakeside High School, CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs offers opportunities for Project Search participants.
The goal of Project Search is to promote independence and to find competitive employment for their participants at the end of their 9 month internship. This program is doing so much more. It is giving its participants independence and purpose. It is giving them a life that some of their loved ones dared not imagine.
Project Search is a program that exemplifies all of CHI St. Vincent's Values in Action: Compassion, Reverence, Integrity and Excellence. It is positive for all parties involved - Project Search, CHI St. Vincent, and the program participants. It truly is a win/win/win.
