Early Detection Key To Survival
As seen on KLRT TV
The best time to find colon cancer is when you're not having symptoms. Dr. Dean Kumpuris, Gastroenterology at CHI St. Vincent explains, "When you start having symptoms; obstruction, bleeding, change in your bowel movements, the cow's way out of the barn and you really have a problem."
Watch for signs of colon cancer, including:
-
Change in bowel habits or appearance
-
Abdominal discomfort
-
Trouble emptying your bowel, or bloating
-
Weakness and fatigues
-
Unexplained weight loss
-
Rectal bleeding
