At today’s CHI St. Vincent, we offer a blend of tradition and forward thinking. As we focus on our ministry, we are encouraged by our rich spiritual heritage. Many of our nurses call CHI St. Vincent their home and their team family. As we look forward, we have established an empowering environment for CHI St. Vincent nurses where professional development is encouraged and supported.

The DAISY Award was established by the DAISY Foundation in memory of J. Patrick Barnes who died at 33 of ITP, an auto-immune disease. The Barnes Family was awestruck by the clinical skills, caring and compassion of the nurses who cared for Patrick, so they created this national award to say thank you to nurses everywhere.
